When you know, you know – Choosing the “right” marriage celebrant…

Hello and thanks for stopping by…

I like to keep things simple at #katedarnellcelebrant – if you have found yourself here, you’re likely looking for someone to help you get married, or make your special ceremony – just that, special! Maybe you’re just interested in wedding planning or special events. Whatever the reason, I wanted to write a little “celebrant post” on choosing the right celebrant that is best for you and your occasion.

And, as the title suggests, when you know, you know.

By all means do your research and shop around! There are many celebrants who offer a variety of packages, personalities and niches…it’s ok for you want a female celebrant, male, someone more comical, someone sombre – the choice is up to you! At the core of it though when you find the right one…I really believe you just know.

Don’t let comparison, over thinking or over planning sabotage your special day…yes sabotage! Trust that just as you have found your “happily ever after person” you will find the right person to make your ceremony perfect for you both. Ask questions, send emails, a text message, call them up – organise to meet them, you have no obligation to book and when you know you really do know.

Booking a celebrant is easy – usually you will be required to pay a deposit to secure your date but it’s very rare that you will find a celebrant that isn’t super friendly and very happy to answer any of your “celebrant questions”.

If you made it to the end of this post, it’s likely you’re picking up what I’m putting down, if that’s the case I would love to hear from you.

…I would love to see if I’m the right fit for your special day…I promise you – when you know – you know.

Love Kate X
